Please take a moment to review the New Jersey Department of Education School Self-Assessment for Determining Grades under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act. Thank you for taking the time to examine this very important information as the Union City School District continues to prioritize the importance of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act.

Roosevelt School's Bring Your Child to Work Day was big fun. The children enjoyed breakfast, rocket stomping, shadowing their parents during classes, gym activities, and ice cream social and a special lunch with their parents. It was a truly enjoyable experience for everyone.

Ms. Coloma's 3rd graders were busy creating Earth Day Recycling Projects and presenting them in class. It was a truly educational experience.

Ms. Coloma and her creative crew of 3rd graders recently had their Animal Research Project ebooks featured in the library home page for the Book Creator Application. In addition to research, students also illustrated their animals. The project culminated with presentations.

Our first ever Unified Buddies Program celebrated the Spring Season collaboratively by decorating bunny cookie houses. Roosevelt’s Unified Buddies Program is a new initiative that pairs 6th grade students with our special needs classes to foster compassion, empathy and community within our school.

Ms. Coloma's 3rd graders did an incredible job researching, creating and presenting their Women's History Month projects for the month of March. What an amazing job by Room 204.
