An Amazing Performance This was an excellent way to celebrate the end of the school year and the Roosevelt School Teacher Performance at our talent show did not disappoint.
Learning To Be A Teacher Ms. Coloma's 3rd grade students experienced the first hand perspective of a teacher. They each planned a lesson-of-the-day and led their peers in instruction. They exceeded our expectations and are certainly very gifted students.

The Volume Zoo Fifth-grade students from Ms. Karkantzelis’s classrooms, 311 and 702, recently created a "Volume Zoo". They used boxes to design and build their zoo animals. Students measured the length, width and height of each box and then found the total volume of the whole animal. It was very enjoyable for everyone in attendance.

The Joy of Painting The Family Friendly program held a special painting class for its 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. They all did an outstanding job creating their masterpieces! It was a truly educational and fulfilling experience for everyone.
STEM Students Succeeding In Film Ms. Kaplan's 3rd grade STEM students created their first stop-motion short films. The students worked collaboratively choosing roles to create a story, build their setting and characters, and film/edit their videos.
