Ms. Kaplan's 1st grade: After reading the book Turkey Trouble, by Wendi Silvano, the students needed to come up with a creative fun way to disguise their own turkeys so they wouldn't get eaten for Thanksgiving dinner. In addition to disguising the turkey, students completed a writing component to persuade us that their turkeys are NOT a turkey!
