Mrs. Van Sickell's 6th graders created "Kindness Cards" to recognize World Kindness Day. They discussed the importance of small acts of kindness and how encouraging words can change a person's perspective. This was tied into their Novel, The Wind in the Willows. Each student was then responsible for creating a card of encouragement, compliments, or kindness that will be kept and used as a class resource this year.
