Digital Citizenship

What is Digital Citizenship?  A Digital Citizen is a member of the digital community.  The digital community includes anything related to the internet and technology.  This means gaming apps and devices, online shopping, learning sites, smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers, etc.  Digital Citizenship means using all of these platforms responsibly, safely, and respectfully. The week of October 14th through October 18th was Digital Citizenship Week.  As digital age learners, our students at Roosevelt School, have been studying all about being good Digital Citizens. We would greatly appreciate if you continue this conversation with your children at home.  Below are some resources that may help you better understand and share these concepts with your children. Together we can assure our students are prepared to participate in the Digital Age and their Digital Future.
